    Family William MUSCHAMP, Esq.,   b. 10 Aug 1480,   d. Abt 1542  (Age 61 years)
Other Partners: Elizabeth HARMONDE;   Elizabeth SANDS  m. Est 1506
    Married Bef 1520
    • Shown in the Surrey vis as the first wife of William, but a window in Camberwell Church had (in 1792, but that church was destroyed by fire in 1841) a number of portraits and an incomplete inscription:
"....Statu Willmi Muschamp .... et Agnetis ....".
Lysons considered this would originally have said (in Latin) "Pray for the good estate of William Muschamp, and Agnes his wife."
Lysons noted that the date, 1520, was still preserved. If William and Agnes were living and married in 1520, and some of the children portrayed in the window were William's offspring by previous marriages, as was supposed, then it would suggest that his marriage to Agnes was his last, not his first. Some of the portraits can be seen on the webpage linked to below.

(from Daniel Lysons, 'Camberwell', in The Environs of London: Volume 1, County of Surrey (London, 1792), pp. 68-121. British History Online http://www.british-history.ac.uk/london-environs/vol1/pp68-121#anchorn23 [accessed 21 August 2017]).

Shown in Surrey vis, CTG agrees - no issue from this marriage.
