  	John was married more than once, and the Collectanea topographica et genealogica ('CTG') and The visitations of the county of Surrey ('Surrey vis') disagree about which wife was the mother of which children, each showing the reverse of the other! The dates of baptisms of the children and the burial of John's wife Anne seem to point to the mother's being as shown here. I hope there may be surviving wills for members of the wives' families which may confirm this.
