Dying a couple of weeks after her last son's birth, was the pneumonia linked to her post-partum state, or was linked to the flu pandemic, or neither? In the flu pandemic it was often pneumonia linked to it that killed. Had her husband, who was in the army, picked up the flu and introduced it into the home? - he was the informant for their son's birth so clearly at home at that time.

In the 1901 and 1911 censuses Joseph was not with his family, and Constant was shown as the head, but she was shown as married rather than a widow. In 1921 she was shown as a widow. Was she really aware she had died, or just guessing?
