Gender Male Died Between 1861 and 1871 - In the 1861 census but his wife appears as a widow in the 1871 census.
Assuming he really had died (and not tired of having a wife 20 years his senior and run off with a younger woman) then he would most likely have died in Kingsbridge RD, but the only deaths in this period that could be him is not a good fit on age.
GRO ref: Tucker, William q4 1864 Kingsbridge RD 5b 173; GRO online index shows age at death as 33
Had he exagerated his age in the census to reduce the difference between him and his wife? If it is him and the age at death is correct it would seem he had married aged about 25 to a 52 year old.
(Another William died in 1861 but before the census.)
