(2 births in 1881 in Faversham RD, one of these 2 died in q3 1881, that it was the above by looking at who was in the 1891 census and seeing the mother's maiden name of siblings. Some seem to have Smith, others Britton; presumably for some reason their mother had been known with both names before her marriage, most likely her mother (re-)married after her birth but too peripheral to this tree to investigate)
