      Died in a plane crash which was reported thus:
      "Two Killed in Plane Crash
      A Tiger Moth two-seater aeroplance in which were Pilot-officer Stanislaw Iwanowski, aged 34, and Flight-lieut Robert Gordon Warr, aged 27, crashed into a stone wall in a field at Ty Mawr Farm Llanfair, Merioneth over the week-end. Both were killed.
      Iwanowski, who was statioined at Valley R.A.F. Aerodrome, Anglesey, was piloting the aeroplane with Flight-lieut. Warr, who was stationed at Acklington, Northumberland, as passenger. Flight-lieut. Warr had been adjutant for more than three years at the R.A.F. Station at Llanbedr, Merioneth.
      The aeroplane had taken off from Llanbedr for a flight to Valley and had been in the air for only a few minutes before it crashed."
