Star Chamber Court Case - There are a number of references in the Discovery (TNA) catalogue to Star Chamber Court case(s), between Roger Gotham and Cowpers on one side and Avery and others on the other.
I have now seen and photographed most of these,and have begun transcribing two - ref. STAC 2/22/225 and STAC 5/G14/36; I will publish here when completed. Both the width of the documents and the style of some of the writing make it difficult for me to have a quick read through and to summarise them before then. The whole lot is lengthy, and I don't think will be the most interesting story - so it's not high priority for me, and the effort (time) needed mean it could take me some significant elapse time to complete this task.
STAC 2/22/225 consists of 4 separate answers - of Robert Averie, Rychard Denys, Thomas Jesse and William Lanacombe.
