- Although age shown as 30 in the 1841 census, which was supposed to be rounded down to the nearest 5 so indicates born 1806-1811, her age was given as 47 in the 1851 census, where shown as born Liverpool, and as 57 in 1861.
In 1841 she had been shown as born Ireland, and was again in 1861.

Susannah, as a Gotham, was witness at the marriage in 1835 of James Carr. The censuses show he was born about 1808 and this is confirmed by a baptism record; it seems probable he was her brother, hence suggesting she was the daughter of Peter and Susannah. Other children of theirs were baptised in Liverpool from 1805, suggesting the family emigrated between the birth of Susannah in about 1803 and Cecilia in 1805. Moving to England at such a young age Susannah may well have had no memories of living in Ireland and a Liverpudlian rather than an Irish accent, and so it is not surprising the informant for the 1851 census might have given Liverpool as her birthplace.

Would seem to be the death of this Susannah as she does not appear to be in any later censuses, and the age in the newspaper report agrees:
