- From PR entry (viewed 20 Nov 2014)
Shown as a widow, aged 86; although this Mary would probably have only been aged 83 I think it close enough that it is this Mary (also, no other Mary Easton buried in Berry Pomeroy that could be her)
Siblings4 brothers and 3 sisters Patriarch & Matriarch
GOTHAM, d. Bef 1613 (Grandfather)
Mary YONGE, b. Est 1590, (probably), Marldon, Devon, England
, d. Est 1658 (Age ~ 68 years) (Mother)
Notes - (Research):I am sure that it was the same Mary in the lease arrangement and who married William Easton, and it is clear that Mary was a Gotham by birth, not marriage; I could, though, have both attached to the wrong Mary.
(It would seem there was also a close relationship between Mary who had the lease and Tymothy Gotham, ID 178)

- "1615 June 3. William Stotham of Abbots Kerswell and Mary Yonge of Marldon"
(from 'The Marriage Licenses of the Diocese of Exeter from the Bishop's Registers', ed. Lieutenant-Colonel J. L. Vivian, Exeter, 1889; p.46)
Married 17 Jul 1615 St. Mary’s Church, Abbotskerswell, Devon, England

"1. William Gotham the son[n]e of Agnes Gotham widow of this p[ar]ish and Mary Yonge the daughter of John Yonge of the p[ar]ish of Mar^ldon, were maried the xviith day of Julie ./ 1615" - under heading 'Anno Dmini 1615'
(Although I have not found a baptism record for Timothy, he seems to be a son of this marriage. This is based not only on the names he gave his children but also because it appears to be two of his sons who were defendants in a Court of Chancery case along with Dinah Adams, to whom they were described as nephews, and Dinah was a daughter of this marriage)
