Occupation 1852 Clerk in Navy Pursery Account Branch - Thom's Irish Almanac of 1852 has on p.105 a listing of staff of the Navy (in England). Possibly under the Civil Department in Somerset House was the 'Pursery Account Branch' under which were listed a no. of first class (1), second class (4) and third class clerks (13). Matthew was the first listed of the 3rd class clerks.
