      Assuming John was a son of John Thorn by his marriage to Mary (though there was no indication in the PR when he married whether he was a bachelor or widower), then he must have been born between their marriage and John Thorn writing his will.
      In his will he describes his wife and son as of Newton Abbot, so Wolborough is probably where his son would have been baptised.
      This is the only John baptised in Wolborough in that period - and the parents are John and Mary.
