Notes - (Research):Who was the Rowe that Margaret had been married to?
As she was of Stokeinteignhead when she married Thomas Gotham it is most likely that he was buried in Stokeinteignhead (if he was buried anywhere, and was not a mariner lost / died at sea).
The Rowe who died closest to Margaret's remarriage was one Michael Rowe (bur 29 Aug 1626), but he appears to have married Anne Pope in 1622.
The death before this of a Rowe who could have been Margaret's husband was of a Richard Rowe, buried 12 Mar, 1624/5.
Looking for a marriage of a Richard Rowe, one married Margaret Forde in 1617; it therefore seems probable that Richard was the previous husband of Margaret.
