The 1911 census shows that Matthew and Mary had had 7 children but only 3 remained alive; May, Matthew and Frederick
I believe the other 4 were as shown.
Esther (Hester) was alive and with them at the time of the 1901 census but not one of the surviving 3 with them in 1911. The other 3 appear to be the only 3 Gothams to be born and die in West Derby RD between 1895 and 1911.
There was also a Charles who was born and died in Liverpool Reg District, but as that would make one too many and all the other children births and deaths were in West Derby RD I think Charles was not the son of Matthew and Mary.
