However, she gave her age as 43 when she married in 1872 and was recorded as 49 in the 1881 census.
She may have been inventing a father's name - shown as William Edgeley when she married in 1849 but Thomas Wilkington when she married in 1872. Or was one her biological father, the other a step-father?
Plus, in the 1851 census an 11 year old visitor was with Sarah and her first husband - Ann Millington. Millington and Withington and look very similar - was this a relation? (maybe a niece?)
