R. Scott" - under heading 'Baptism ... Penkhull ... One thousand eight hundred and ninety seven and ninety eight'
Gender Male Military Service WW1 Residence 1921 47, Vine Street, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England
- Vivian and his wife were living with her parents, her sister 'May' and May's husband Dennis and five siblings. Strangely, not only is Vivian and Elizabeth's daughter Violet (born a few months before the census) but neither is either of May and Dennis's two children, Colin and Vera, born 1918 and 1920, though neither seem to have died, with clear evidence that Violet and Vera were alive at a later date.
Had it just been one I might have thought they were in hospital or similar, but it seems unlikely all three were; searching for them in the census I can't find them elsewhere so wonder if their grandfather or whoever filled the form in for him (he made his mark) simply forgot to include them.
