    • Stokeinteignhead burial register has an entry
      "Osment Rich hanged himself the first day of August." - under the heading 'Anno Domini 1642'.
      There is no mention of his burial, possibly not in the churchyard due to suicide; the entry was probably made as a record of his death. 
      Admon was granted to Barbara, the widow and relict of an Osmund Riche of Stokeinteignhead in 1650 - who was that? Can I be sure it was this Osmund who committed suicide in 1642?
