    • In 1759 the Rev Bryan Faussett noted:
      "In the Chancell. ... On a little low Altar Tomb, against the South Wall. Here lieth the Body of Sarah the Daughter of John SLADDEN, who was buried the 17th of July 1653 aged 1 Yeare."
      Also recorded by Zechariah Cozens in about 1795, who described the location as "just without the rails, at the South side".
