"June 14 Christian Prowse" - under heading 'in the yeare of 1687 were buried these followinge Persons'
Woollen affidavits register:
"eod. die [the same day - June 14] Christian Prowse was buryed in woollen only & affidavit made [to] Mr Williams by Sybilla Dycer, witnesses George Browse Honor Parke" - under heading 'in the yeare of 1687 were buried these followinge Persons'
Despite no comment 'daughter of ...' I haven't seen any sign of another Christian, either by birth or marriage, whose burial this could be (and for a married woman you would expect a comment 'widow' or 'wife of ...', the absence of which lessens the chance this is a Christian Prowse by marriage who married elsewhere but had no children born 1679-90 (the period for which I have browsed the baptism register).
Sybilla Dycer who made the affidavit was the same person who made the affidavit when Peter's mother died. Looking through the names of those making affidavits, it is apparent the surname was rarely that of the deceased. It appears it may have been the norm to have someone else do this (maybe the person who had laid out the body?) I don't know of a link between Sybilla and the family; all I have discovered about her is that she was buried in Brixham in 1707 (no indication of whether widow, married or a spinster).
