His father's will states Richard was to recieve his inheritance at 20 years of age, suggesting he was born no earlier than 1522; the instruction though was for 3 sons and it is not clear if they were all under 20. Richard was not named in his grandfather's will, written 1516, suggesting he was born after than was written.

No burial of a Richard in 1556 in the KFHS transcripts, but there was an entry for Richard for 28 Jul 1555. It seems probable that this is this Richard with the year wrong. Wills were most often written only a short time before death, and the 4 days between the will and burial would be very common.
The error could be in the transcribing by the KFHS or being in 1555 - 6 the entry was probably transcribed in the late C16th when the requirement to keep the entries in parchment books was brought in, and an error could have been made then.
The transcribed data records 'Richard Sloden junior'. This suggests an older Richard was still living - maybe his uncle, or he could have had a cousin with the name.
