  Notes	I think he was the Richard Jacobs living with a Lilian E Jacobs, both shown as 'm'arried in the 1939 register so appearing to be a married couple, although no marriage can be found in the BMD index for England and Wales. However, his will was proved by a spinster Lilian Emily Jacobs, so I think that Richard and Emily were living as a married couple.

I can't find the family in the 1911 census, so have to rely on the BMD index which shows no other JACOBS or JACOB with a mother's maiden name of PALMER in the London area.
