  	Living when his brother John wrote his will, 17 April 1838. However, it is clear that it was this Francis Jefferson who died shortly after that, as the two deaths are recorded on the same monument, from which the actual date of his death comes. GRO ref: Jefferson, Francis q2 1838 Montgomery RD 27 74; GRO online index shows age at death as 26.
