Although as a widow Maud should not have filled in the section in the 1911 census about her marriage, she did, and recorded she had had seven children, one of whom had died. Five were with her, but not Frank or Elsie May, so it must have been one of those who had died. The BMD index shows it was Frank. Looking for Elsie, I find she was with an aunt and uncle.
