"Ralph Son of John & Mary Rogers Bap.d March 20th"This would seem to be the baptism of this Ralph (i.e. the one who married Mary Gottam) as the year is right for those suggested by other sources for his birth, Adbaston is close to Hinstock (about 6 miles) but in Staffordshire, so not Shropshire, agreeing with the 1841 census.

Henry Wild may have been Mary's uncle with this name. Witnesses were usually young family members, e.g. siblings rather than parents, but Henry was one of
her mother's younger brothers, aged about 28 at the time of the marriage. (He could though have been a cousin; some of her mother's 12 brothers could have had sons old enough. I have not researched (and have no plans to research) their families.)
