  • Name Edmund EDYE
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
    Born Est 1722
    • Based on date of baptism of first known child. His probable parents married in 1719, and had children baptised in the Dissenting Chapel in Hatherleigh, but the records for that only survive from 1730, which is probably why there is no record for a baptism of Edmund.
    Gender Male
Buried 29 Feb 1776  All Saints’ Church, Okehampton, Devon, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • Not many Edye events in Okehampton prior to this, though his daughter Margaret did marry there in 1773. It seems probable that this is the burial of this Edmund - there is no sign of it in Hatherleigh.
I suspect the widower Edmund went to live with his daughter Margaret after his wife died.
