    • In the 1881 and 1891 censuses. I believe she is also in the 1901 census, though shown as Mary Byatt when we would expect her to appear as Mary Lowe.
      So she clearly died after 1891, and probably after 1901. Not found (as Lowe or Byatt) in the 1911 census. There is no death for a Mary Byatt in Staffordshire, 1901-1911, but the following fits perfectly - right age, most likely RD - except she is shown as 'Mary Ann' when all other records I have seen have her simply as Mary. Nevertheless, I think this is her:

However, this was her step-father and I have no evidence she ever used the name Mary Dent. (I decided to leave her once I realised that in case anyone else is searching for Mary Dent due to this PR entry)
