- There were a large number of Taylor = Hancock marriages in the period which could have been the parents of Horace. One likely one is:

Given that the 1911 census shows that they did have a son Horace of the same age as the Horace on this tree (husband of Ivy Gotham) then I think it reasonable to assume that they were the parents of this Horace.

Other Taylors with a mother's maiden name of Hancock had births registered in Wolstanton RD around the same time, but the 1911 census shows that Horace and Florence had only had 4 children, all still living. It would not be safe to assign any born after the 1911 census to them without other evidence.
