      Although Albert's surname is given as Frith I am sure that it is this Albert as the registration of the birth of his son, with him in the 1939 register, gives the mother's maiden name as Muncaster and the same document names Albert's wife as May (relationships assumed, as not stated in the register)
      Also, Albert's surname is given as Firth in the local (Lancashire) BMD index: FIRTH, Albert E to MUNCASTER, May 1926 Church: Everton, St. Chrysostom; Registers at: Liverpool; Ref: 2095WD/9/188

      Now I have seen an image of the PR entry (on Ancestry, viewed 5 Aug 2021) - this shows Albert's father as Frederick Ormond Firth, Frederick being the name his father seems to have adopted in place of Fritz, and which thus confirms it to be the marriage of this Albert Edward.
