Ann GOTHAM
Set As Default Person -
Name Ann GOTHAM Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt Feb 1841 - From age at death.
Not the birth registered as Anne Cotton in q1 1841, as her mother's maiden name was Carter; her birth appears not to have been registered.
Baptised 5 Mar 1841 All Saints’ Church, Chebsey, Staffordshire, England
- From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 14 Feb 2017)
Gender Female Residence 6 Jun 1841 Castle Street, Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England
- Ann was not with her mother at the time of the census.
However, Ann's death was registered by Richard Wilcox, present at the death, resident Eccleshall.
This points to her being the Ann Gatton, aged 3 months, present in the lodging house headed by RIchard Wilcox. There was quite a jumble of people present. including several children. With the limited information given in the 1841 census it is not clear who would have been caring for (or neglecting) Ann, and whether any were related to her.
