  	The 1841 census gives her rounded down age as 40, suggesting bron between 1796 and 1801, but the 1851 census gives her age as 59.
  Baptised	The index on FMP (as at 12 Aug 2019) has 2 possible Sarah Edges, one born in 1792, baptised Eccleshall, daughter of Edward and Sarah, the other baptised in Stoke on Trent in 1794, daughter of John and Ann. Although the date of 1792 fits best, the census shows Sarah as born Stoke on Trent, and her first daughter being named Ann makes a stronger case for the 1794 baptism being this Sarah's. However, a Sarah Edge was buried in Stoke on Trent in 1816, with her age given as 22, suggesting she was born 1793 or 4. The evidence is too weak, making it unsafe to record any partciular Sarah Edge as Ann Cobden's mother.
