      This baptism seems a good fit - the date is a good one, just slightly younger than her husband and an average age for marriage for this period. Brixham is about 12 miles from Torbyran, further than average but not too far. It is the only one on the index on FMP (Nov 2019) within about 10 miles of Torbryan that could be this Elizabeth, and there is no other marriage that is likely to be hers. However, there were Avery events recorded in Torbyran around this time, and Avery families in neighbouring parishes including Denbury and Woodland. Maybe Elizabeth's father had moved to Brixham from one of these, and the contact with the Torbryan area led to the marriage, but possibly there is a baptism of an Elizabeth missing from the index - possibly missing from the PRs - from one of these families close to Torbryan.
