Possibly this Thomas, but could be his father of a nephew. If it was this Thomas it could explain the Joan of Tavistock buried here in 1729/30, it could have been his widow returned to Peter Tavy to be buried with him.

"Thomas Cudlip and Mary Knight both of the Parrish of Petertavie were married the 11 day of Aprell"
I think it unlikely there was a 5 year gap between children, 1670-75, but the PRs only survive from 1675, and the BTs do not survive for all years, and then sometimes only in fragmentary form. (I have browsed those that doe survive for this period)

Family Jone LEAH, bur. 18 Jan 1729/30, St. Peter’s Church, Peter Tavy, Devon, England
Married 23 Sep 1701 St. Peter’s Church, Peter Tavy, Devon, England
- ** Likely this Thomas but ... **
it could be a Thomas from another parish marrying here as his bride was of Peter Tavy, or the couple choosing the church for some other reason
From PR entry (image on Devon FHS website, members' section, viewed 10 Oct 2022) "7:ber 23 Thomas Cudlip and Joan Leah were married."
