A Joan of Tavistock was buried in Peter Tavy in 1729/30. I think it unlikely it was this Joan. Whilst she might have moved to Tavistock after being widowed, it seems more likely had she moved it would be to live with her son in Milton Abbot, or if she remarried to live with her new husband. I think that she may have remarried and been buried under another surname is a more reason the burial shown here may not be hers than her burial being the Joan Cudlip bur in 1729/30. This was before her daughter Mary married, and she did so in Peter Tavy, which may indicate she was still living there, and so her mother may well have been to.
If the burial were this Joan she must have been aged at least c. 95, and it might have been expected that her age would have resulted in a comment in the PR.
Probably aged not much more than c.40 when widowed, it is perhaps most likely she did remarry, but she seems not to have done so in Peter Tavy.
