Sarah ISSELL
Set As Default Person -
Name Sarah ISSELL Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised 14 Aug 1808 St. Thomas à Becket Church, Dodbrooke, Devon, England
Gender Female Apprenticeship 1820 Pauper apprentice - Placed as a pauper apprentice with Andrew Wright by the overseers of the poor of Stokenham parish.
Buried 28 Nov 1838 St. Nicholas’ and St. Cyriac’s Church, South Pool, Devon, England
[1] - The other Parkers having families about the same time in South Pool did not include another wife named Sarah, and there was not a Sarah Parker baptised in South Pool about 1808, so I think the death is this Sarah, despite her husband having a wife named Sarah in the 1841 census.

"Banns of Marriage between Richard Issell and Elizabeth Damarell both Sojourners ..."
Married 21 Sep 1807 St. Michael’s Church, Honiton, Devon, England
- I thought marriage would most likely have been at Dodbrooke but it was Honiton - what took them over there? Both were described as 'sojourners' in the Banns, which I guess is how the marriage was permitted, although their home parishes were shown in the marriage PR entry.
