- No Frederick A Stammers born in Kent (that could be this one), but a Frederick born 1906 was in Kent in 1939, and a Frederick Albert Stammers died in Kent, so I think this was the one that Mary married.
GRO ref: Stammers, Frederick Albert q2 1906 Hartismere RD 4a 998; GRO online index does not show a mother's maiden name.
Actual date from death registration index and the 1939 register; details also now from his birth registration (GRO register copy).
Frederick was with his grandmother Lydia at the time of the 1911 census and the birth registration shows that he was the son of one of Lydia's daughters, but without buying the birth cert. I don't know which. Since his grandmother died when he was just 10 the 1921 census may give a clue when that is released, though even if he lived with his mother after his grandmother's death he may not have been with her 5 years later.
On the edge of the Go(a)tham ONS, I don't plan to investigate - but would be pleased to hear.

Notes - (Research):Four Frederick A Stammers were born in the period 1902 - 1906 (= all in the period 1890 - 1912); they were born in Maldon, Poplar, W Ham and Hartismere RDs so no obvious candidate from birthplace. However, 3 were Frederick Arthur, only one Frederick Albert, and the death registration shows middle name as Albert. In addition, the date of birth in both the 1939 register and death registration suggest the birth registration would be the one in q2 1906, the registration of Frederick Albert.
