Confusingly, one Richard Lavers married an Elizabeth in Blackawton in 1788, and another married an Elizabeth in 1789; both then had children born in Blackawton and were both buried in Blackawton in 1834!
One Richard appears to be the son of Robert; I don't know the identity of "the other" but I am guessing he might be the son of Robert's brother John. But he could well have been a distant (or close) cousin from another parish.
From the age given in the burial register entries of the 2 Richards, this, "the other" Richard was the older, born c. 1757.
I am now fairly confidant that Richard the son of Robert marr Elizabeth Granville. At first it seemed probable that Robert, the son of one of the Richards, was probably the grandson of Robert, and as he gave the name Granville as a middle name to one of his children it seems clear his mother was the Elizabeth nee Granville. Now I have also found that Robert senr's brother Bartholomew mentions Richard's son Robert in his will as "of Devonport" which ties in with what I know of Robert junr and confirms he was the grandson of Robert senr.
That leave this "other" Richard as the one who married Elizabeth Laskey.
From the age given in the burial register entries of the 2 Elizabeths, one was born c. 1753/4, the other c. 1759/60.
Both could have married either Richard but it seems most likely that the older Elizabeth married the older Richard - else there would have been an age difference of c. 12 or 13 years between one couple - with Elizabeth being older.
But if the Elizabeth Laskey was the one baptised in Moreleigh then it would seem she was the younger. And with a child baptised 1807 she is unlikely to have been born as early as 1753/4.
Children of this marriage
I am guessing each Richard name a son after his father and then one after himself. The daughters with a middle name Laskey are surely Elizabeth Laskey's daughters, so that leaves George and William. Bartholomew, a brother of Richard-the-son-of-Robert, metions his brother Robert's sons (alive in 1844) as Robert, Richard and George.
That just leaves William!
If Elizabeth Granville was born 1753/4 it would be quite likely she would not have had children after 1794, while it would be unlikely that Elizabeth Laskey would have had children in 1789 and 1791, then no more till 1800, so I have guessed William was the son of Elizabeth Laskey.
