      Jane is shown as mar rather than a widow but in both 1861 and 1871 her husband is not present, but her husband is. In 1861 she is shown as an Inn Keeper of an unspecified inn, but in 1871 this is clearly the Green Dragon.

      In 1881 she is a widow, with her dau and son-in-law, a farmer at Ugborough, and their family. In 1891 and 1901 she is still there, although her dau is now dead.
