  • Name Elizabeth WOOD
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
    Born
    • No baptisms found of a likely Elizabeth Wood(e). However, there was a colon after Elizabeth's surname when she married, as though it were abbreviated. If it were, what was the full surname? There were quite a few surnames starting 'Wood' found in the vicinity; one real possibility would seem to be Woodfin, as one was baptised in Harberton in 1696, and there is no obvious alternate marriage or burial for her. However, with not all PR entries surviving or indexed it seems too uncertain for me to pursue this line at this time.

    • The baptisms in Blackawton suggest a marriage of William Bartlett to an Elizabeth c. 1715, unless they had other children elsewhere before moving to Blackawton.
This Charleton marriage not only fits the bill, but if I'm reading it correctly Elizabeth was already 'of Blackawton' (maybe both were).
