Father John HUNT, b. Est 1665, d. Yes, date unknown Mother Elizabeth, bur. 8 May 1709, All Saints’ Church, Maidstone, Kent, England Married - No marriage of a John and Elizabeth in Maidstone to fit this couple prior to 1692. A John HUNT did marryan Elizabeth SPRINGAT in Maidstone in Jan 1695/96 (John was of Sutton Valence, Elizabeth 'otp'). Was John widowed and remarried another Elizabeth ? I suspect not, that it was simply another John and Elizabeth as there isn't a burial of an Elizabeth in Maidstone or Sutton Valence, 1692-1695/6. (I thought there might be baptisms of children of John and Elizabeth in Sutton Valence to confirm this, but there aren't)
A John and Mary had children in Maidstone at a similar time. This cannot be an earlier marriage of the same John as there was some overlap in the dates (the baptisms of the children of John and Mary were 1687 to 1695/6).

Family 1 Mary BRACKPOOL, bur. 25 Jan 1751/52, St. Mary’s Church, Lenham, Kent, England Married 7 Jan 1723/24 St. Margaret’s Church, Wichling, Kent, England - This COULD be the marriage of this John.
If he had found work in Lenham prior to his marriage he could well have had a bridge from Wichling and married there.
However, there was also a marriage of a John HUNT to a Mary in Maidstone in 1722/3 (John otp married Mary TOLHURST of East Farleigh, marr 24 Feb 1722/3; from KFHS CD 26).
While that would also fit neatly as the marriage of this John, there was also a John baptised in Maidstone in 1689, son of John and Mary, who could have been the one that married then. A John son of Thomas and Ann was baptised in Maidstone in 1700/01, he could also be the John who married in Maidstone if he was still alive, I suspect he had died.
In addition Maidstone would have been where many young men could find work, so a John not born and baptised there may well have been 'otp' there in 1722/3.
The Wichling marriage could easily be the John baptised in Egerton in 1693/4; there is no sign of him in Egerton after his baptism.
