A widow Bennet Gotam, presumably Samuel's widow, was 'of Sandwich' when her daughter Ann [Annis] married in 1625, more evidence of a link beween this Samuel and Sandwich.I did wonder if the burial was of a different Samuel and his widow had been the Bennett Goatham who married in 1606, but in that case when her daughter Ann married she would have been married to Stephen Pipping and not described as a widow, not simply Gotam (she would probably have been "Bennet Pipping als Gotham, the wife of Stephen Pipping").
