    • I am guessing that the Jane Charrosin who married John Newman in 1729 was this Jeanne.

      There were a few children of a John and Jane Newman baptised in Canterbury from 1740, but as there were none before this and a John Newman married a Jane Parker in 1739 the children would seem to be of this other couple, and not the couple on this tree.
