Yes, date unknown (2 x Great Grandmother)Notes - In giving a son the name Ambrose, definitely an unusual name, Robert and Susanna weren't showing that they had imagination or were well read - Ambrose had long been a Patey family name, at least as far back as an Ambrose, who, with his wife Mary had children baptised in Stokenham in 1747 and 1750. And it continued to be used, not just by their son William naming a son Ambrose in 1850, but the latter too named a son Ambrose who died in South Pool, aged 76, as recently as 1950.

It simply says "Banns of Marriage between Robert Patey & Susan Gillard" - "The above were Married ['in this' crossed out] by Certificate"
(quiet a few other entries similar to this at this time in South Pool, when the wedding took place in another parish)
