    • Jahan being one of two daughters of Richard Gotham buried the same day it seems likely that they were twins who died soon after birth. (Also, no baptism has been found for either of them; maybe they died before they could be baptised).
      However, with no baptism found for any child between 1562 and 1579 it is possible that the family had moved to another parish for which the PRs don't survive (or aren't indexed or have been mistranscribed), later moving back to Stokeinteignhead. In this case Jahan and Johan could simply have been sisters, not twins, dying about the same time because they both caught the same infectious disease.
