Settlement certificate for Mary Hunt
Unmarried Mary Hunt seems to have been in service in Borden and gone, probably to relations, in Wormshill for the birth of her baby. As she was legally a resident of Borden those responsible for the care of the poor (pre-workhouses) assured those in Wormshill that if she needed assistance Borden would take responsibility.
(the document is slightly larger than my scanner; I will try to add the base at some point - it has the signature T Bradley and the printer's name and address)
