The graves of Minnie Ann and James Bartlett Hambling
In this cemetery burials were only made one person deep. Common practice was to have one free grave (on which no stone was allowed), then buy the adjacent plot (stones were allowed on bought plots), and put a stone centrally! Rather than a tall central stone the family put a wide low stone and surround on the whole area.
