Great grandfather's walking stick
This was presented to him by the members of the Garlinge Allotment Garden Society (1 Oct 1903). I don't know what he had done for this - I guess served as secretary or similar. The wording suggests this to me rather than that it was a prize for the best allotment of the season or whatever.
