Gotham is a rare surname in Dorset and Somerset. With Broadwindsor only 6 miles from Crewkerne it seems reasonable to think the one who married there was the one baptised in Crewkerne, especially given that the latter would have been aged about 23 at the time of marriage, i.e. a likely age. However, I have not yet looked at the survival of Parishes / BTs in the neighbourhood to know if there might have been other Gothams in neighbouring parishes which do not now survive, nor of the coverage of Somerset / Dorset by the resources I have seen (I think Dorset is well covered by Ancestry but the odd parish may have withheld permission; Somerset may be less well covered).
