  • Notes  Married:
    • From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 19 Jun 2015)
There were marriages of Elizabeth Narramores in 1707 and 1710/11 that I believe were the marriages of this Elizabeth and her widowed mother. Both their husbands were involved in a case re the will of a Richard, who I think was this Elizabeth's brother, in 1726 - this is my reason for thinking that the marriages were to these 2 Elizabeths.
Neither marriage has the marital status of the bride recorded in the PR, both marriages resulted in the birth of a child but I can't find children born long enough after either marriage to rule out the older Elizabeth.
There does not appear to be a baptism of a Nicholas Thomas in Buckfastleigh or Ideford, and too many elsewhere to be able to identify the probable husband of this name. However, a Wreford family seem to have been established in Chudleigh, and it seems probable that the John Wreford who married an Elizabeth Narramore was baptised in 1782, making it highly probable that he married the younger Elizabeth.

It is quite likely that one or both of the marriages were by licence, and seeing the allegation(s) may well confirm who each Elizabeth married.
