  	From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 6 Jan 2013): Grace Mudge of Marystow, William Ellis of Lamerton In the 1841 census a William and Grace Ellis were living in Tavistock, William shown as aged 76, so could be this couple, though there were a lot of William Ellises in Devon and probably others married to Grace. There were marriages of Agnes and Jane in Tavistock that could be the daus of Wm and Grace, censuses show they were the right ages, though both were shown born Tavistock rather than Lamerton. Agnes marr John Truswell, 28 Feb 1815 (DFHS index on FMP) Jane marr Thomas Castle 19 Feb 1811 (DFHS index on FMP) Two trees on Ancestry show the Jane who married Thomas Castle as the dau of Wms bro James [do I mean James or John? - the other I've seen bapt for was dau of John]; both Janes were bapt in Lamerton in 1789. It seems to me more likely that the one whose parents appeared to have lived in Tavistock, possibly from when she was quite a young child, would have a birthplace shown as Tavistock rather than Lamerton. But 1 or both tree owners may know something I don't - I will try to contact them to find out.
