Name Mary Ann PAYNE Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Gender Female Died Yes, date unknown Notes - (Research):I suspect it was this Mary Ann HAULCOMB who married again in 1816; not found burial of Charles before or after this date.
Charles and Mary Ann appear to have had only 2 children, both sons, James, bapt 1807 and Charles born c. 1809 (bapt not found; relationship from tree of Martyn Haulkham). Charles senior could therefore haved died anytime from about 1809. Although James was baptised in Westhampnett, both sons subsequently had their families in Mid Lavant, so it seems quite likely that the family could have lived there or subsequently moved (possibly been removed) there after the death of Charles, hence Mary Ann being of Mid Lavant in 1816.
Re-marriage details:
SFHG marriage index shows 19 Oct 1816, to Thomas Dyer, at East Lavant; Thomas was of mid-Lavant.
No other details given. Need to see PR entry to see if Mary Ann shown as a widow.
