  	Halke (otherwise Hawke, Haulk etc.) is not too common a name in East Kent, and a number of the family were minor gentry or at least yeomen sufficiently well off that there are a good number of wills, Chancery Court cases to make this an interesting family to study. This page (to be expanded to a number of pages) gives an introduction to my research and the Halkes on this tree.
